You can take your pick from exploring the winter alpine terrain on skis or a snowboard, walk along cross-country ski trails in summer and enjoy breathtaking views of the Australian Alps, hike Mount Feathertop, four wheel driving, abseiling, rock climbing, mountain bike along scenic downhill trails, saddle up for a horseback riding experience or check out some of Victoria’s best trout fishing streams and rivers. Not to mention the wide variety of snow activities such as tobogganing, cross country skiing, sled dog tours, rough terrain skiing, night skiing, snowboarding parks, snowshoeing guided tours and any activity you could possibly think of organised for kids through the Milo Kids Club.

Travelling to Mount Hotham has never been easier because the ski village has its own airport located 20kms for the resort. So if you are travelling by air all you need to do is catch a flight to Melbourne or Hotham and once you have arrive the Snowball Express Coach will deliver you and your luggage to your requested place of accommodation. You can also travel by coach or by car but if you do decide to self-drive you must always carry snow chains at all times during the declared snow season, and fit them where directed. You can hire chains at the bottom of the mountain. There is also a National Park Entry Fee which is paid on arrival.
