Mount Buller is an easy 3 hour drive from Melbourne and is the closest ski resort located to an international airport and major city within Australia. If you choose to drive yourself, all you need to do is simply take the Hume Highway to Mansfield and from here you just follow the signs to Mount Buller which is only 45 minutes away. But you can also go by air and by bus, and to do so you can fly from anywhere in the world straight to Melbourne where you will catch a connecting coach service direct to Mount Buller that runs on a regular basis.
